Robin Hahnel is a Professor of Economics at Portland State University. He is best known for his work on participatory economics with Z Magazine editor Michael Albert. Hahnel is a radical economist and political activist, his most recent book is “Of the People, By the People The case for a participatory economy”
He speaks to Sylvia about the shut down of the US government and the precarious political gamesmanship that’s going on and how this ongoing political deadlock creates a scenario where the US economy cannot recover.
